Idiomatic
Idiomatic was a total surprise for me. First they let me shoot the whole gig and secondly I felt they swoop the floor with the main act. Although the rest of the audience wasn´t with my thoughts.

Sonata Arctica
This was the opening gig for a Finland tour. They have been touring mostly in other parts of Europe, but now playing 15 gigs back home in Finland.

Stargazery
Despite the fact that Stargazery was quite obvious choise as warm up act for Sonata Arctica they did their job well.

Apulanta
It´s interesting how Apulanta has changed from small punkband to one of the biggest bands in Finland. Trios with leadsinger also being guitarist are always hard to shoot as the frontman is kind of chained to the micstand. I try to wait for the moments when the leadsinger takes a few steps back from the micstand between verses. This way the composition is more balanced and lot of the times more interesting.
The Blanko
The Blanko was the warm up act for Apulanta in Pakkahuone on first of april. This littleknown energetic trio reminded me a lot of Muse and such bands with big guitar walls.

This band reminds me of early Green Day. Young and eager pop punk explosion!
